Challenge: The American Heart Association hosts a golf tournament to raise money to support cardiovascular research. They wanted to show the importance of the event and remind others of the many who die from hear attacks and strokes every year.
Solution: Use one of golf's most recognizable symbols—the flag—to create an unexpected connection between the sport and cardiovascular disease. By reimagining the flag as a visual reminder of the lives lost each year to heart disease, the ad transformed a familiar object into a powerful metaphor. The simple, arresting image invited golfers to see beyond the game and recognize the urgent need to support the American Heart Association.
